Dr. Mu graduated from West China University of Medical Sciences and later served as assistant professor of gastroenterology at that medical school. In 1990 he went to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he completed an NIH-sponsored research fellowship in gastroenterology, medical residency, clinical gastroenterology fellowship, and also served as clinical instructor of medicine.
Dr. Mu joined Western Washington Medical Group and Providence Regional Medical Center in 2000. Since 2009, he has been selected by his peers as one of Seattle’s “Top Doctors” on multiple occasions.
He actively participates in teaching medical students and medical residents of Washington State University (WSU) and currently serves as a WSU clinical associate professor of medicine.
